A mattress with an independent spring block is a modern type of traditional springs in mattress. The innovation is that all the springs in it work separately, independently of each other. Each mechanical element is placed in a separate fabric cover and is not connected to the others. Thus, during sleep, they provide point support for each part of the body in the correct position.
A mattress with an independent spring block follows all the anatomical curves of the body, allowing the spine to relax and support it in the correct position.
Another difference from classic mattresses is the lack of a hammock effect, which is important for couples. The surface of the mattress always remains flat. If a person rolls over, stands up or lies down, no hesitation is created. This makes both users comfortable to rest and sleep.
Types Of Mattresses With An Independent Spring Block
When choosing, you should remember about the number of springs in mattress per square meter: the more of them, the more pronounced the orthopedic effect. Accordingly, mattresses are divided into several types: TFK, Multipackage, Micropackage and the “Duet” variety.
1. TFK
TFK is the basic configuration of an independent spring block, it contains 250 springs per 1 sq.m. The maximum load per bed is up to 120 kg. Mattresses with this block, as a rule, are offered at lower prices due to the low density of springs.
2. Multipackage
Multipack is an improved spring system with 500 elements per 1 sq. m. and a permissible load of up to 130 kg.
3. Micropackage
The micropackage is the unit with the best support: the permissible load on it is up to 150 kg, since the density of the springs in mattress are very high – it reaches 1200 pieces per sq.m.
4. Duet
The “Double Spring” type is designed for married couples with a large difference in weight (up to 30 kg). Here, the springs are inserted one inside the other, which allows them to work individually with the weight of each of the partners: the large one works for a small weight, and both springs take an increased load.
